Spring time is here and we are keeping ourselves rather busy, so my posts are getting farther spread out. So, let me catch everyone up...Andy is taking Algebra and hating it, but doing well. I am taking change management and business law and doing well. I have finals next week, but Andy's class is longer so he has more time left. We were able to go visit Cami, Peter, & Logan in March to help them move in to their first purchased home. It was a crazy weekend, but we enjoyed visiting and helping. Their house is cute and I hope they will share pictures soon. Logan is growing so much and very much into the whys of things. He asks tons of questions. Here is a little video of us looking at a scrapbook of him that his mom made, its comical (to me anyways). I just wanted to look at the pictures and he wanted to know all about EACH one.
We did our first triathlon of the season, a 200yd swim (in ICE cold water), 6.5 mile mountain bike, and 2 mile run. Andy placed third!!! This was his second time on the podium ever. I got lost on the run and cut out half of it on accident. If I wasn't so honest, I could have been on the podium too...haha. We are scheduled to do our next triathlon on April 18th only this one is a road bike instead of mountain bike. We spend our weeks training alone because we are on different shifts, but on the weekends we do brick workouts together. That is when do two of the three events. As soon as Andy wakes up this morning we will be going on a 15mile bike ride and then complete a 2-3 mile run. We enjoy this, are we crazy? haha. Here are two pictures.
Andy and Podium Time
Us, Our Truck, and Our Mountain Bikes
Amongst school, training, and work we are always on the go! Forgot to mention that Andy will not be getting an instructor slot at Travis due to overmanning in the rank he holds. So, we are looking for an assignment again. He is now is looking into being a Military Training Leader at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs...but, we may get an assignment elsewhere before he has the opportunity to be selected there. So, we are in limbo as we have been since October, but anywhere we go we will be together so we are happy about that. I leave for school on June 8th and Andy will spend the summer doing triathlons. We will get to meet up in Georgia to visit Mom/Dad Mujica and Yvette for the 4th of July though. I will come home July 28th and hopefully by then we will know what our status is...going or staying! Nothing is ever for sure in the military...I think I have brought you all up to date now. I will write again soon.
