February in Review

February came and went for us pretty quickly. Andy spent most of his time in Washington for a C-17 training class. While there he spent his free time skiing, working on a college class, and even played a round of golf. Andy is attending American Military University online to get his Bachelor's in Sports Science. He just wrapped this class up, it was an introductory class, and the next one is math. We'll see how much he continues to like going to school after this class. haha. I spent most of the month working on two college classes; I attend Devry University online. I had two 20 pages papers and one 10 page paper to write, along with two 3.5 hr finals. It kept me busy most of the week and into the weekends. I also spent two weekends with my parents. It was nice to relax and visit with them. I was able to attend a baby shower for an old high school friend and see Jordan (my nephew) for the first time since he was born (april 14, 2008). Andy made it home for the last weekend in Feb so we went skiing in Tahoe again. We bought me a a new pair of ski boots so I can finally stop renting. We were able to get them custom fitted to me in hopes that this will make my skiing more comfortable. I have yet to adapt to ski boots. I tested them out the following weekend and had to take them back in for some adjustments. So, hopefully our next ski trip will be even better. We are both pretty busy in the month of March too. Andy is taking math, I am taking Managing Org Change and Business Law, and we are going to visit Cami and Peter to help them move into their new home. They just bought a house! yeah! They are excited. We are also working long hours next week for an exercise that will prepare our base for an inspection later on in the year. It is also the season for racing...mountain bikes, triathlons, duathlons, marathons...yikes! So...I will post again when I can. BTW we still don't know if we will be moving or not...I'll keep you posted on that one too. Here are a few pictures from February.
