Current Events

Andy and I competed in a dualthon this past weekend. Normally we do it individually, each competing in the whole race of a 3 mile run, 18 mile bike, 1.5 mile run. However, Andy is in a walking cast with crutches to immobilize his foot right now. He is trying to do everything to get his plantar fascia injury to heal without surgery. So, we competed as a team so we could still do it. I did the run portions and Andy did the bike portion. It was fun. It is one of those races we do every year and didn't want to miss out on this year as it may be the last if we move with my new job. Still no news though. We also bought a new Subaru Outback two weeks ago. It is the perfect outdoorsy (and room for kids) vehicle. We love it. The seat warmers are the best!! Her name is Sue. We name all our vehicles. So, now we have Sue, Candy (the truck), and Appy (the jeep). We picked the name Sue because of a song by Johnny Cash that makes us think our subaru. I am enrolled in a Financial Management class right now and so far I am enjoying it. Andy is working swing shift so we don't see much of eachother right now. I look forward to his shift changing after Christmas. So, that's about it for now.
